What we say...
Today’s Golfer Hybrid Test 2011
Tested: July 2011
Testing panel:
Chris Ryan (Belfry Pro)
Leon Iacono (HCP 4)
David Connor (HCP 10)
Ben Miles (HCP 17)
All our testers said they would happily put the Superstrong into play. Chris said he liked the way it sat tight behind the ball and the shallow face would really inspire confi dence from the fairway and the rough although he admitted this could be a disadvantage off the tee. Ben said this was one of the most forgiving clubs on test while Dave also rated it extremely highly from the fairway. Leon thought it lacked a little in feel but his performance stats with the Superstrong were excellent.

Today’s Golfer Hybrid Test 2010
MD consistently punches above its weight and its MD Superstrong hybrid is no different with great results across the board at an outstanding price. Chris noted the shallow face promoted a high ball flight and although this detracted slightly from the overall distance, the results from the rough were superb. Chris was a fan from both tight lies and deep rough, although the looks didn’t win universal acclaim. Having never come across the brand, Roger admitted he was surprised by the overall quality, the feel and the sound from this club.
