How did we rate the Benross RIP Speed 2 Hybrid in the TG Hybrids Test 2014? Click here to find out!
The lowest launching Benross Hybrid, making it a perfect compliment to the RIP SPEED 2 Iron. Generating a powerful, piercing yet controllable ball flight desired by the stronger player. The all new Aldila ATX TOUR BLUE Hybrid Shaft is fitted as standard, as are Golf Pride Multi-Compound Grips.

I'm not a fan of fairway woods, as a mid handicap I find them the hardest shot off the deck, so when Benross released a hybrid that did not resemble a fairway wood I had to try it out. I was not Disappointed, lovely ball flight, easy off the deck and out of rough and a cannon off the tee. I wouldn't say there is a huge offset like previous comments.

Got one of these with senior flex shaft about a month ago. Mine is the 20 degree and it works great for a slow swinging 66 year old 11 handicapper. The offset solves the problem that I was having with slicing / pushing my five word and distance is similar. About 165 carry for me but lowish trajectory gives good roll out in drier conditions. Thinking of getting the 17 degree to replace my 3 wood and maybe the 23 degree too. Very very pleased with this club.

Got tested on a 20degree rip speed 2 hybrid in American golf. When I picked it up I loved the weighty feel to the club (feels like you could smash a door in with it). I'm a high handicapper but can hit a ball well (sometimes) - hit 10 balls at on machine at American golf each straight and c220 yards, of all ten shots I had a 25yard shot dispersion which believe u me is pretty good as I can spray it around a bit! Took club out for first round today - as I the machine all sent straight and true...love this club - nice low penetrating ball flight. Can wait to play again!
