What we say...

2013 Driver Test

Joel really enjoyed the slick black finish, but both him and James noticed the slight onset of the clubface which was a little perturbing. Kit also liked the finish on the crown and the subtlety of the sole design, but found the black face and crown difficult to align and the lack of alignment didn’t help. The low launch tendency didn’t help his game, but it helped Graeme achieve a much more consistent flight.

2012 Drivers Test

Our team really wanted this to go well because they all loved the sleek looks of the Master Model Black. However, even our faster swingers found it difficult to generate the launch and spin necessary to keep the ball in the air for long enough and that meant our slower, low-spin players really struggled. Consequently forgiveness and feel ratings suff ered and distance was certainly down. With a good custom-fi tting this could do a great job for a high-spin player but if you struggle to get and keep the ball in the air we’d recommend something diff erent. Not the cheapest option, either.
