What we say...

If your car has a small boot, and space is at a premium, you simply have to get your hands on the Solo King electric golf trolley, the smallest electric trolley around. The Solo King electric golf trolley is the best space-saving answer we’ve seen. It uses a simple sideways folding mechanism to pull the whole electric trolley securely together, managing to fold into a more compact package than most other electric trolley designs.

While more joints normally means less stability, the Solo King electric golf trolley is just as stable and solid as any of the others we tested, and had no problems bumping over rugged ground or through knee-deep rough. The adjustable-length handle means the electric golf trolley can easily be matched to your height, and we particularly liked the simplicity of the Solo King’s battery attachment: gone are any straps, Velcro ties and click clips; in their place there’s a really simple cradle that holds the battery securely in place, meaning getting the battery operational is quick and easy.

Our only concern was the fiddly front wheel. It takes a few minutes to reattach with butterfly style bolts – something few of us would relish on a cold winter morning. Put this aside, though, and we reckon this is a nifty little electric golf trolley that should stand the test of time.

High-performance, aluminium framework with a top quality conventional rear-wheel drive system.
