Pros
The trolley is easy to assemble, and to use. It charges quickly with apt speed settings. It’s also well-made, sturdy and is stable when moving.
-
Cons
Having visible wires these days is odd. Straps are fiddly to connect.

Technology
The Golf Stream Duo Golf Trolley is easy to put up and down via two click-and-fold points, innovative short rear “legs” let a folded trolley stand upright plus it has security code programming, distance control and speed settings. Made in Britain, the Duo’s frame snaps together in seconds via the bi-fold mechanism. Bag sway and twist is eliminated by not using the central beam to support it. Soft grip T-bar handle and pre-set distances of 10, 20 or 30 metres.
Tested
As reviewed in our Trolley Test 2014, tested by Rowland Brothwell (Handicap 8): The trolley was a joy to use overall. It’s light and easy to carry and fold. It folded down reasonably small so that it could fit into a small car. The battery held a good charge and the speeds were easily adjusted and suited my walking speed. It’s quite stylish in appearance and looks like it will last a long time. The straps are a little old-school having to clip the two ends together. Also, seeing the motor and various wires looking down is a little disconcerting. But on the whole, it has been a reliable performer.
Details: £379 (18-hole lead acid battery); £549 (lithium).
