2012 LONG TERM REVIEW
This trolley is very close to being a jackpot product as far as I’m concerned. It’s very easy to set up, even if you’re normally challenged by DIY projects like me. The frame folds neatly and fits easily into the car boot – it’s also pretty lightweight so easy to transport. I love the amount of functions incorporated into the trolley, and the USB port has been very helpful since I had the unit delivered.
The only difficulties I encountered were battery-related. It ran to a halt after 16 holes not so long ago. If it continues, I suspect I will end up speaking to the manufacturer about it. The unit is heavy, and is something EZiCaddy could look at if they wanted to improve the overall package. I also find the trolley a little noisier compared to some others, but on the whole I think it represents great value and I would certainly recommend it.

2011 REVIEW
Tester: Mike Gow, HCP 8
Pros: I instantly liked the look of the EZI Caddy, I found it striking and I also liked the fact that it’s the first one I have laid eyes on with no other club members having one. This resulted in many questions from various people thinking it was the PowaKaddy Sport or the Motocaddy S3 which are far more expensive. The number one attribute of this trolley is the functionality, I like the digital display and especially like the fact you can measure distance. The speed control was easy to use and I liked the fact I could plug my phone into the USB port to keep it charged as before I couldn’t get 18 holes out of it. I had no problems with fitting it in the car and the battery, although a bit big, lasted very well.
Cons: I don’t have too many complaints regarding this trolley but it took me a good 30 minutes to setup. I did find it a touch noisy and found that it slightly dragged to the left which did get a bit frustrating.
Conclusion: After the initial pain of setting it up, this went well. A very good model at less than £300.

2010 REVIEW
What we like: The digital colour display is exceptional – you have a distance control, speedometer and battery guage among the features and, like Motocaddy’s S3 Digital, golfers can also plug in devices using the USB port. It also folded up superbly well.
What we don’t like: The cosmetics of the product are pretty strong, with the orange flashes going well with both the black and white frame, but it does look a touch on the light side, making stability a potential issue in the longer term. Our only slight worry was that the product did pull ever so slightly to the left – this wasn’t in the Stowamatic’s league, but it was still noticeable.

I purchased the EZi5 in November 2011 after looking at many of its competitors. I wanted a modern looking trolley that was light, able to fit in the boot of the car with no hassle and have a display with good information. I am delighted with the trolley, very easy to assemble, quick fitting battery mechanism is ace and the display is clear and very informative giving you yardages, distance covered by shot, automatic distant facility and the time of day to name but a few. The Frame is both light and very sturdy with battery that easily copes with eighteen holes. I am finding the trolley really easy to assemble and use and have covered over 75 miles already. I have had one small issue with the trolley which was dealt with promptly and very proffessionally. Collected and delivered back to me within four working days FOC. You can't get better than that. . Overall I have found the trolley and the company to be first class. In my opinion this is the best electric trolley product out there. Looking forward to seeing the accessories launched in March 2012.
