What we say...
Reviewed in our Waterproof Test 2014: Let’s no water through at any area and water drops off quickly; it becomes very nearly bone dry after one aggressive shake. The jacket has adjustability on the hip, back and sleeves for a tailored fit so it doesn’t interfere with your swing.
It’s probably one of the louder suits during the swing as it has a coarser Gore-Tex than others, but this stretchy fabric feels like it moves with you as you swing. At 280g it’s super light and folds down smaller than most suits. The zip and Velcro combination on the ankle is quick and easy to secure and keeps the water out admirably. And the Gore-Tex fabric makes it superbly breathable. This half-zip jacket is quick to pull on and Galvin Green offer full-zip options for those that way inclined. It’s also nice to have the navy trousers to match. (Price: £249)
