What we say...

Without question the best-looking suit in the test according to our panel of golfers. It's always a worry with waterproofs that all of them will be dull and dreary, but the Callaway Warwick did the business. The Gore-tex PACLITE offering certainly looked the part, but there was some doubt over whether it would deliver the goods when the going got damp. Oh we of little faith! During both showers, the Callaways refused to let any water in whatsoever, and even the hood excelled when put into use. You either think the hood is great, or one of those things you'll never use. We like the idea of it, even if you just use it between shots. The fact that it didn't make the suit any less waterproof was also a big bonus

Constructed using three different Gore-Tex fabrics, the Warwick offers plenty of breathability, while the stretch fabric - particularly in the sides - preserves the ease of movement. The pockets on the jacket are laser-cut, stitched and welded for maximum protection. A hood is hidden in the collar.

  • 1 out of 5 Todays Golfer review (Dec 08 issue)

TG review: 1 Star Suit: 4 Stars Todays Golfer slipped up bigtime with this review.. 1) Didnt give the reader any ideas about where they may be able to actually buy this waterproof suit from.. 2) Said it cost £199 (Full suit)- the actual cost is £350 at least. 'Under £200' is mentioned a couple of times throughout the article. I'd like to know where TG got this information from..Lazy journalism/research if you ask me. I could have done a better job myself
