What we say...
Made from 100% polyester microfibre which is lightweight and breathable. Sealed seams, storm flaps and the ability to fold into its own pocket!
If you like retro clothing, look no further than the adidas MCP Rain Pro golf waterproofs. It’s the sort of 100-per-cent polyester jacket and leggings you’d expect an old fisherman to be wearing, or the sort of thing you took to your first cub camp when you were 10 years old!
The adidas MCP Rain Pro golf waterproofs are a bit of a letdown from a company that normally prides itself on producing technology-ridden products. Yes, it may be the lightest suit on test, and yes, it beads water better than a duck’s back. But just looking at it makes you feel hot and sweaty. With no zip fly, removable sleeves or any really useful features, the Rain Pro is seriously lacking against its competitors.
Most of us, when faced with a sweaty round in this suit, would probably rather head straight for the bar. If you simply have to have a cheap suit in your bag, then this is the perfect answer, but we feel there’s much better wet weather wear out there.
