Best Titleist Golf Bags 2024: Pencil Bags
Walk the course with ease
Best Titleist Pencil Bag
The mini deployable legs make it easy just to rest on the edge of the tee box or near the green, although they don't deploy with a simple push they do pull out easily and are nice and sturdy. Along with the double strap which is synonymous across the Titleist range it makes walking the course a breeze.
As far as pencil bags go, this has plenty of storage with room for all of your belongings including an external drinks pocket. All the storage locations come with YKK zippers which in my experience have always been easy to open, strong, and reliable.
Pros
- Great storage options for a smaller bag
- Legs are super convenient and easy to release
- Lightweight
Cons
- The strap buckle gets caught below the grab handle
Best Titleist Golf Bags 2024: Travel Bags
Making traveling the globe a breeze
The Titleist Players Travel Cover provides the premium quality you’d expect from Titleist at a very competitive price point. Durable skate wheels make the Players Travel Cover easy to maneuver and take on most terrains.
The level of protection is excellent, and additional storage comes in the form of two internal zippered pouches and an external valuables pocket.
My favorite storage spot is the interior shoe pockets, which keep them hidden and looked after while everything else is nice and tidy. The U-shaped zip opening also makes life loading and unloading your clubs a breeze.
Pros
- Great storage pockets
- Easy access
- Strong base with sturdy wheels
- Good padding
Cons
- Rather bulky compared to other options

Titleist Golf Bags: Buying Guide
There are a range of key factors to consider when thinking about buying a golf bag and we have delved into these below to help you choose the right Titleist golf bag.
Budget
As is the case with most golf products, price is at the forefront of a golfer’s mind. Golf bags have a style, a type, and a price for everyone.
If you’re in the market for a stand bag that is affordable there is plenty out there for you. If you’re a golfer who likes something a little more premium such as a waterproof or tour bag then there are plenty of them too.
Bag Type
It comes down to, do you want a stand bag or a cart bag. To bridge the gap you also have hybrid stand bags that are good for both carrying and using on a cart. For now, we can keep it simple. Both types of bags have positives and negatives depending on what you want out of them, so you should think about exactly what will best help your game.
A cart bag is for golfers who like to use a golf buggy or golf cart. If this is you then finding a bag that has plenty of storage space and keeps your clubs organized will make your life much easier. Cart bags are bigger and bulkier than stand bags, so getting one that is lightweight you can haul from your garage to the course will help.
If you’re a golfer who likes to walk the course and carry your clubs you need to get a stand bag. If you choose to go this path then factors such as weight and comfort will be most important, as the clubs will be on your back for 18 holes. Even though the bags are smaller finding one with good storage can help as there is not much room in comparison to a cart bag. You’re constantly taking the bag on and off so getting one that is nice and robust with strong legs and good support is key.
Weight
The big-name brands now seek to make the lightest bag on the market. Whether you’re after a stand or a cart bag making life easier on and off the course is what golfers want. You don’t want to be fatigued before the 18th hole, so a lightweight golf bag will help make walking the course easier and stop you from breaking a sweat. A cart bag isn’t required nor expected to be lightweight however the lighter it is the easier it will be to shift from home, to the car, to the course.
Waterproofing
Having a waterproof golf bag may not be essential but it’s certainly something to consider and being prepared for the heavens to open is a no-brainer. If you live somewhere like I do in the UK then you’ll know that it can be wet all year round and can also rain when you least expect it, so getting a waterproof bag to look after your clubs and valuables is great. For many of you who live in warmer dryer climates this factor may be something you brush over and not worry about.
Storage
A bag with tonnes of pockets is great, you have loads of room for your apparel, balls, gloves, valuables, and accessories. On a stand bag, you may have to compromise some weight the more pockets you have on your bag as it will be heavier and you’re carrying around more stuff. But stand bags can be simple and keep things light with only a few pockets it’s just a case of only packing the essentials for the course.
Cart bags on the other hand tend to have an abundance of storage spaces with bags like the Mizuno BR-D4 having an amazing 20 different places to keep your things. As cart bags are bigger they tend to have larger pockets and as you’re not carrying them around the course you can fill them with more stuff, whether that be a buffet for the 10th tee or a full set of waterproofs.
Looks
Whether you want a stand or a cart, there is a design out there for everybody. Brands have bags that are more garish to help you stand out on the course or something a little more subtle to help you blend in. Most bags whether it be a cart or a stand have similar designs, so it may be worth considering the style or colorway you want.
Titleist Golf Bags: FAQs
Do I need a stand bag or a cart bag?
It all comes down to the golfer, if you’re someone who needs the ease of using a trolley then a cart bag would be the preferred choice. However, if you prefer to carry a stand bag is going to be much more suited to your game.
Is StaDry worth it?
It’s always good to be prepared for every eventuality and certainly, if you live in a wetter climate like us here in the UK it would be sensible to have a waterproof bag to look after your belongings.
From our experiences with StaDry, it is certainly worth the investment. Designed by Titleist to withstand the elements and keep your belongings dry no matter what the weather.
Are Titleist tour bags waterproof?
Yes, Titleist’s new Premium Cart StaDry bag offers quality waterproof storage. The bags feature StaDry’s seam-sealed zippers to ensure no water is getting in.
