For this reason, it’s important to do your research before settling for any model in this crowded marketplace. Here are some of the key considerations you should be aware of before making your decision.
Accuracy
When we talk about accuracy, we are referring to how close a known distance is to one measured with the device being tested. For example, if a gold-standard calibrated measurement device calculates tee-to-pin distance to be 150 yards, you should expect a quality rangefinder to reflect that yardage within one or two yards.
