What we say...
Technology
A reformulated core in the new Velocity produces faster ball speeds. A new, spherically-tiled 328-dimple design with seven different dimple sizes boasts three axes of symmetry for a more uniform surface coverage.
This is said to deliver a more penetrating flight on full shots while a softer compression core provides more short game feel.
Tested
As reviewed in our Balls Test: Feels firm off the clubface, powerful with the driver, but a little clicky on short-game shots.
Still gripped adequately when struck well. A little one-dimensional around the greens, but driver ball speeds were above average. Had a decent amount stopping power. A steady performer in all areas.
