2013 Balls Test
JR: Very high driver ball speeds. One-dimensional around the greens, suited more to the percentage shot.
JT: Immediately feels firm off the clubface. Impressive ball speeds, but with limited greenside control.
KA: Pretty good ball, not far below premium models on long game, but harder to stop around the greens.
The Titleist Velocity golf balls feature LSX core technology and a NaZ2 cover formulation to deliver high ball speeds and short game feel.
By using new core technology, Titleist claim to have created a new two-piece ball that delivers high initial ball speed on full shots and playability on shorter shots.
