Pros
In terms of distance and consistency of flight, it was just about as impressive as anything else.
-
Cons
Feels harder and less responsive, like a traditional distance ball.
What we say...
Technology
The Srixon Distance Golf Balls provides higher initial velocity and a penetrating flight from the 420 dimple configuration which gives greater distance.
Long, but with a responsive feel for 80mph swing speeds or greater. Exceptional cut proof durability.
The balls are technology packed to create high initial velocity on every shot with high launch angle and with a 432 dimple pattern
Tested
Chris Ryan, PGA professional: “After the strong performance of the AD333s, the Srixon Distance struggled to make an impact. It can’t be faulted: the AD333 is just better. Expect its two-piece construction to feel harder and less responsive, like a traditional distance ball.”
This was very much a “no frills” ball in the opinion of our test team in terms of feel. But in terms of distance and consistency of flight, it was just about as impressive as anything else in this category.

never used to bother which ball i used being a beginner, thought it didn't matter. went out for game one day in february to local course in very high winds and bought a box of wilson distance which were on special in the pro shop. had te best score to date (90). ball went straight and long even into head winds. an amazing ball. after game went back to shop and bought 4 more boxes. GET SOME.

i never bothered to by a particular ball and only ever used found balls or lake balls at best. however recently i was forced into buying some balls because i had only an old top flite from about the fiftys in my bag. so i got a dozen of the srixon distance balls and the result was my best round for years, six under my handicap. one of the best improvments being chipping and especially the roll of the ball when i putted.
