What we say...
Technology
The DP1-V3 has a three-piece construction and a soft, durable urethane cover providing great feel and spin, with a high velocity core for distance – at up to half the price of other urethane balls.
A 324 dimple pattern helps create a penetrating ball flight aimed at the competent golfer.
Dunlop say the DP1 Golf Balls are the perfect choice for the experienced golfer, providing a soft yet durable finish with a urethane cover.
Tested
As reviewed in our Balls Test: Low trajectory and a hint of bite greenside, not enough to depend on though.
Feel was OK, mid flight on pitches with ability to check it up from tight lies.
Very impressive performance given the price. Felt like it wanted to grab on chip shots but released like a distance ball mostly, unless nipped really cleanly.

I found one of these balls and had it in my bag for a couple of weeks. I then played this ball as a provisional and was really impressed with the way it performed. Reasonably long and straight, soft with plenty of bite on approach shots and as good a ball to putt with compared to Pro V1 or Z star. I now buy these at £20 a dozen rather than any other ball on the market.
