Technology

The Callaway Warbird Plus golf balls have a faster, softer core construction.

The Warbird Plus golf ball has ditched traditional dimples and incorporated Callaway’s patented HEX Aerodynamics.

These reduce drag and promotes a stronger, more penetrating ball flight that cuts through the air

The Warbird Plus features include a new high power core. The faster, high resiliency rubber formulation provides maximum distance with softer feel than the previous generation.

The durable Ionomer cover provides long-lasting playability and also helps increase the deep distance this ball delivers.

It has a Ionomer Cover, it’s durable design generates long drives and provides even longer playability.

Tested

We thought the Warbird Plus felt a bit “bricklike” when he teed it up but was pleasantly surprised with how good it felt off the face.

We also noted good control with what was one of the better balls in the category.

Callaway Balls User Reviews

  • 4 out of 5 Good for distance

    By GolfGhoul

This ball is a very good ball for the price. If it were £20 it would get a worse review but at the price it is a very solid product. Off the face from the tee it feels very solid but when it comes to touch shots around the green it is quite hard to control the distance and spin. With the putter it gives a firm feel which won't suit everyone. Overall at a modest price, you can get it for a little over £10, it is a very good ball and will serve you well if you are less fussed with control and spin.
