JR: High flight, low spin with a 6-iron. Balls came off hot. Impressive carry, lost touch on finesse shots.

JT: Noticeable high launch, low spin. Around the greens the high flight stopped the ball rather than the spin.

KA: Got some good distance with my irons and wedge. Mid trajectory, lovely feel off the putter face.

The Callaway Hex Hot golf balls feature a tri-blend trionomer cover and re-engineered HEX aerodynamics to increase lift at low speeds.

Callaway’s foray into the ball market began in 1996, with their first ball launching in 2000 when the Rile 35 three-piece was unveiled. The first ball with Hex aerodynamic technology came two years later, and the Hex Hot is the latest in a long line of excellent innovations which have followed since.

The Big Bertha Blue and Red balls, which first appeared in 2003, will be fondly remembered by many, and the current Tour-ready Hex Black Tour balls are trusted by some of the world’s best players.
