Soft feel and a ball that is really easy to get airborne.

What we say...

Chris Ryan, PGA professional: “I struggled to feel the difference between the low-compression Big Bertha and the HX Hot, but the statistics tell a different story. The low compression means soft feel and a ball that is really easy to get airborne, even for a slow swinger.”

Callaway Balls User Reviews

  • 5 out of 5 Callaway Big Bertha Balls

    By Rhys Edwards

There are a few good 2-piece choices at this price range, including the Srixon AD-333 and the Titleist NXT Extreme. But for me, these give a much more consistent ball flight than everything else, go further than everything else and have better feel and spin than everything else! They are also a good few quid cheaper; I get mine for £15 a dozen. When comparing these against the HX-Hot, you get just about the same yardage but with a lot less side-spin, and much more response around the greens. For the average golfer like me, they have to be the perfect missile. Well done Callaway.

Brilliant round the greens, great off the tee. Out of the Big Bertha, HX Hot, HX Hot Bite the Big Bertha beats them all easy, and it's cheaper

I managed to pick up a set of the Big Bertha golf balls from the shop Sports World for a measly £13. Very good off the tea and around the green. Not much can touch these around this price.

im a junior golfer and i tried these out. They have great feel on the greens but don't have the distance of the warbirds.

  • 5 out of 5 Uniroyals for the noughties

Can you remember the original hexaginal balls , Uniroyals in the 1970s (I think) . They were great then, and the Hex big berthas are excellent now. The HX hot seem too hard and the Callaway blacks are too expensive to put OB so stick with the red ones. Great balls at a great price.
