What we say...

Tested by Sean Turner, HCP 4

First impressions?
It looked stylish, and I was pleasantly surprised by just how light (7lb) it was for a trolley bag.

How did you find the storage?
Fantastic – incredibly well thought out. There were plenty of big pockets, including a cooler pocket which happily accommodated two one-litre bottles plus snacks, and
lined valuables pockets. I was also impressed with the elasticated zip pulls and sizeable putter compartment, which features a protective rubberised coating.

How did it perform against the weather and overall?
I didn’t get much opportunity to play during June’s rain, but the cover fits incredibly well on the top and it seems capable of seeing off the odd shower.

Did it work with your trolley?
I use a PowaKaddy trolley, but the Ping bag sat well on it. I’d also say that the square base of the bag seemed to improve the stability.

Any issues?
Genuinely very little to dislike about the bag. Full marks from me.

The Ping Pioneer Cart Bag has a 14-way reinforced top and individual full-length dividers, the spacious Pioneer puts a premium on club protection and organization. A separate, molded putter well features a protective rubberized coating.

Among the nine pockets are a velour-lined range-finder pocket, and a large insulated beverage holder. Though generous in size, the Pioneer weighs only a little more than 7 pounds and offers an integrated handle.

Been out with it a few times this year and pleased with it. Plenty of storage for water proofs and woolly gloves as required so far this year. Very lightweight for its size. Recommended :-)
