What we say...

I’ve been using this bag for 16 months.

I thought I was going to have to sell a kidney to afford a Stewart Golf bag, based on the high price of their remote-controlled golf carts – but for £129, this seemed to offer good value for money.

I like gear that stands out well on the course, and the Stewart bag certainly did that. The stand did the job incredibly well, and you can see how a company that gets so much right in the engineering process for electric trolleys translates this care and attention to stand bag. It felt like a lot of love and thought went into the production of the bag – the pockets were helpfully positioned, and offered plenty of room. The padded straps were also supercomfortable; I often play 36 holes a day at weekends, so this was a real plus point.

Initially, I wasn’t sure about buying a product from a company that I hadn’t previously associated with stand bags. Would it last well, how good was it going to be compared to what went before? But this was more a misconception thing and I would happily recommend the bag to other golfers. One other thing – the waterproof zips could be a bit sticky and weren’t the easiest to use. The bright colour is a bit loveit- or-hate-it. I loved it!

I’ve had a tiny moan about the zips, but to be honest, I’ll take that over getting my gear wet. I once ruined a rangefinder because it was in a golf bag pocket that didn’t handle rain very well, but the Stewart bag ticked a huge box here and all my kit stayed dry. The whole thing is waterproof – not just the odd valuables pocket, every pocket!

The Stewart Golf Waterproof stand bag really stands out on the course. It is entirely waterproof with many pockets that offer plenty of room.
