The Callaway RAZR is a fairly new addition. I’ve been using it for about six months. I loved the looks because it is dark, so shouldn’t get too dirty, but not dull and boring. It also looked big enough for all my bits and bobs.
I love the 14-club dividers and don’t know why more bags don’t have the same. It keeps all my clubs separate and tidy in the bag. The top cuff carry handle is also great for those little walks round a green rather than using the full shoulder strap. I can fit everything I need into the bag and the fact there are valuables pockets within the bigger pockets is a big plus.
I’ve sporadically used a smaller bag, but when I have… I’ve really missed the space of the Callaway bag, especially in the winter when waterproofs are needed. I’ve only used it for six months but so far it is showing no signs of significant wear and tear. All the zips are intact and the shoulder straps are still nice and padded.
I really like the bag but if I was to pick up on something it would be the lack of an insulated drinks pocket. There are plenty of pockets and there is room for drinks and snacks but it would be nice if it was insulated to keep my drinks a touch cooler. Another minor gripe is that it’s not the lightest but then with the size and number of pockets I can’t complain. I’d rather have the space than save a couple of ounces.
The rain cover is excellent. It is by far the most sturdy I have come across of any stand bag and although the bag will get a good soaking in heavy rain the valuables pockets are tucked away so my phone stays dry.
The Callaway RAZR is a very sturdy and durable standbag. The 14-club dividers keep all clubs separate and tidy along with loads of pocket space and the useful top cuff carry handle for when you don't need to use the full shoulder strap.
