Tested
As reviewed in our 2014 Distance Devices Test – winner of our Bronze Award: The styling is modern and it’s easy to use. It’s quite chunky and you can’t score for your whole group, but it got going once switched on straight away and the combination of buttons and touchscreen was easy to grasp. The scorecard was easy to use and the movable pin function allows yardages to be more specific and it’s easy to navigate through the features. It’s a little large, but I didn’t notice it during my swing. Switching flag locations on the pin placement mode was a breeze. It’s got everything you’d want and more from a GPS watch. Slicker than the VT3 and just as easy to get going. The distances are clear and having up to 11 hazards per hole helps find the fairway more often.
