Tested
As reviewed in our 2014 Distance Devices Test: Prefered the darker finish on this and it feels grippy in your hands, too. The Mode button is a little stiff compared to others and it’s a shame you can’t use it in medals. The ability to move the cursor around and it adjusts is great. Liked the LED illumination and the slope function although you have to add or deduct the yardages yourself. Swift and accurate, easy to switch modes. The Distant Target Priority mode is useful when ascertaining carry distances over bunkers. You have to calculate the slope adjusted distances yourself, a minor qualm.
As reviewed in our 2013 Rangefinders Test: Testers felt this was better looking than the white Coolshot. Joel found it easy to switch modes and used the Distant Target Priority mode to determine carry distances over bunkers. Stephen said the slope-adjusted yardage takes away guesswork for distances to elevated greens in social rounds.
