Bushnell are well known for their rangefinders, but they also produce a Neo GPS unit. And for what it does, it’s hugely impressive. The boys were instantly impressed with how easy it was to use, and its courses were easily downloadable. Riath felt for mid-to-high handicappers, the unit offered all he’d want from a GPS; easily-displayed distances to the front, middle and back of the green.
The looks let it down a touch – Steve felt it had a touch of the 1980s about it. But he did note the durable case was a winner, and Richard also liked the fact you could attach it to your belt. It may be limited in functions compared to some of the others on test, but for £129 it is very useful.
