Firstly thank you to today's golfer for such a pleasant person to speak to on the telephone when i requested responding to a bad review. The golfing gentleman who disliked the course is within his rights to have an opinion although the out of bounds on any course is generally there for the safety of players on blind holes, which i would have thought a 5 hcp would be aware. The fairways are always imaculate and the greens in March were top dressed on the 30th which is also done for the good of the course and players.I am very glad that we have a clean establishment and that we serve a good pint of beer -sadly we purchase our meat from the local butcher and that we only serve the best quality, and generally our ham egg and chips are in fact £8.95 not £8.50.It would have been nice if the golfer had told us of his disappointment at the time .We pride ourselves that we give a warm welcome and have many guests and golfers returning after 23 years of building a good golf course with a small but wonderful membership .Our"nice little course" is part of the Priskilly Forest which dates back centuries ,and has never been referred to as" Micky mouse"or that our greens as below standard .Sadly we can't please All .

Played the course yesterday and as a huge golf fan I absolutely hated it. I'll begin firstly by giving prais to the fairways as they were in descent condition, however the short layout made it a bit of a Micky Mouse set up with below standard greens. There were also far to many out of bounds which made the course totally unforgiving for the amateur golfer. The facility's were also a tad under par but the bar and eating area were clean. I ordered food which was very pricy, ham egg and chips £8 50. My friends didn't order food for this reason, however there was a nice pint. Our group had the highest handicap of 5 and all couldn't wait to finish. We won't be visiting again.
