This course is nothing like St Andrews, more like the local chip and put. The greens are not at all looked after, the fairways are more like the rough, and that's if it's a good day, and just when your about to tee off , vrooooom a jet or three fly by....the club house is as welcome as a Brussels sprout they all look at you like aliens and speak Welsh so you can't join in. Of to holy head tomorrow ...

We have played Anglesey a couple of times on 2-4-1's and it has been a reasonable course at a reasonable price. This time we were charged £40 [there were 2 of us]with the 2-4-1 voucher. When we questioned the rate we were told they now only do a daily rate. It is now too expensive. It is a nice interesting course with good views but not worth £40
