What we say
A fairly testing links of the nine out, nine in variety. Wick doesn’t have many bunkers to worry you – you just have to keep the ball low and running to score well. You’ll love the lovely firm fairways and greens, the signature par-3 9th and the chance to take in the wildlife and the sound of crashing waves behind the dunes.
Founded in 1870 and designed James Braid this course is surrounded by spectacular scenery and picturesque coastline. The course is seldom crowded, green fees are moderate, and there are a number of open competitions during the year. The crafty use of ditches and some doglegs makes the round rewarding. This is a typical seaside links course, fairly flat and easy walking. Normally breezy.
