What we say
This course, divided into two parts by the Inverness to Wick railway, has experienced major changes since initially being laid out by Braid at the back end of the 19th century. The holes, including two short par 3s, on the other side of the busy road were dispensed with and three new holes were created. Today the course measures 5,500 yards from the Medal tees.
More Top 2-FORE!-1 heathland courses
Laid out by James Braid, Muir of Ord is a typical heathland and moorland course which has been improved and lengthened over the years to just over 5,500 yards from the medal tees. With four of the five par-3s under 190 yards, this is definitely a fun course to play.
