What we say
The scene of Dave Thomas’ final course project north of the border, the par-70 layout is maturing fast and nicely since opening in May 2010. It forms part of a five-star resort and is plotted within 240 acres of picturesque parkland on the south bank of the Clyde, with large, gently contoured USGA-spec greens.

The new 18-hole Earl of Mar championship course at Mar Hall offers spectacular views of the River Clyde and the Kilpatrick Hills beyond.
It was designed by respected golf course architect, Dave Thomas, who is known for his work at The Belfry in England, plus San Roque and La Manga in Spain.
It's shaped around 250 year old sweet chestnut and beech trees, with strategically placed bunkers providing a challenge throughout your round.
