What we say
This course is the work of Jack Nicklaus – the most successful golfer of all time. This course hosted the Ryder Cup 2014 and is a favourite with many top players. There’s a terrific variety of holes and because there are four different of tees on every hole you can play the ones that suit your game.

Host venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup matches and 2019 Solheim Cup, the PGA Centenary Course, created by Jack Nicklaus, is a modern classic.
Even for a champion and acclaimed golf architect like Nicklaus, The PGA Centenary Course was a challenge. It had to be a great course and, set as it is in the heart of Scotland, the country that gave the world golf, Nicklaus described the course as "The finest parcel of land in the world I have ever been given to work with".
It had to be unique in its challenge, a course in the modern design ethos that at its fullest stretch tests the greatest players, while, in the immortal phrase of Bobby Jones, "offering problems a man may attempt according to his ability... never hopeless for the lesser player nor failing to concern and interest the expert."

Played this today and can't really complain. Excellent condition although greens could have been faster. Last a slightly poor hole, but a really good and fair test of golf.

Definitely a golfing experience!! Great service. Great facilities. You can use the steam room and sauna as well as the locker room facilities. Little dissappointed that had to play of mats on the driving range! Also the course is good, it was a challenge, but for a Jack Nicklaus designed course and for a Ryder Cup course, I somewhat feel the course is lacking. Our caddies said the Kings Course is the one to play out of the three there. Still a great golfing experience though.

Brilliant course, amazing setting ad especially brilliant service. The practise range is also impecable with free range balls before your round. Unfortunately, the wow factor is certainly diluted second time round. Accompanying hotel also fantastic

I have played the PGA a few times, great course, kept in great condition. Warm welcome and five star service guarenteed. Buggies a must as it is a very long walk. Must be played to be fully appreciated.

A magnificent setting for a golf course, ive played the PGA a few times now and the course never plays the same way twice. My only complaint would be it's a slog to walk it, buggies are a must.

Hard to imagine anything better! Location, Location, Location. The layout is fantastic; some terrific holes that ask all the questions you could possibly need in a round of golf. The course is tough but fair, and was in excellent condition. The facilities are second to none.
