What we say
Like nearby Scotscraig, Ladybank proves that Fife isn’t all about top links. It’s a captivating heathland course with many fairways lined with pine and birch. The course is relatively flat and easy-walking but that’s the only thing easy about it as Open hopefuls have found to their cost in recent times – Ladybank has hosted Local Final Qualifying seven times since 1978.

Having hosted final qualifying for the Open at St Andrews seven times, Ladybank Golf Club shows that links aren't the only top quality courses available in Scotland. This heathland course
Originally a six holer, it was extended to an 18-hole course in 1961. Both Jack Nicklaus and Seve Ballesteros are honorary members.

An absolutely cracking test. Superb heathland layout, demands accuracy, and good course management. Greens are very true and reasonably speedy without being too fast

i have played this course often in the past. it never lets you down you have to think your way round it.every hole plays a different direction to the hole you have just played. with it being tree lined you have to judge your shots on a windy day very carefully.the sandy ground makes it ideal for playing in wet conditions. you wont be dissapointed .i guarentee you will use every club in your bag.
