What a fantastic day I had at Longniddry Golf Club. We booked our group visit through the club secretary who was incredibly helpfull and welcoming. We didn't really have many restrictions on the times we could play which was a fantastic bonus. Arriving at the course there was an information board outside the excellent changing rooms which had all the course information and our group details written up on it, welcoming us & informing club members of our visit. The pro shop is small but very well stocked and the professional was great. The course was excellent comprising of four par 4's and no par 5's. My favourite holes were the picturesque downhill par 3 sixth hole and dog leg par 4 12th. Although there isn't a par 5 the par 4's can be long and challenging, especially into a prevailing coastal wind. The par 4 third hole took two drivers to get near the hole. The fairways and greens were excellent and thankfully the rough wasn't too punishing. Off the course there were showers and towels provided and the food was really good, especially the steak and onion baguette! Overall an excellent experience and a real challenge getting round the course.
