Offering a mix of both links and parkland golf, Powfoot Golf Club is a great test of golf and will challenge any golfer. The course presents many tough holes, including the monster 258-yard par-3 that turns into a driveable par-4 off the medal tees.

Since a redevelopment in the 1950s, the course has remained largely unchanged for 60 years.

    A very exacting test. First part along the shore then through the gorse further inland. Demands accuracy off the tee otherwise the gorse will ruin your card. A memorable day here.

    overall i found this course very interesting with a few very difficult holes which i like. one of the main reasons i didnt give this full marks was because of the older members here, commenting on my play being younger and less experienced than them, im not saying im a hacker or anything, it just seemed that because i was a outsider i was frowned upon along with the others i was with.

    We played in very wet conditions and would like another game there in the dry.
