Home to two courses, Monifieth Golf Club has hosted Open qualifying on several occasions and is still yet to be recognised by many outside the area. It was the first links course Tom Watson ever played when he qualified in 1975.
With strong contours and tree-lined fairways, it is a tough test for many golfers and accuracy is key.
Having recently undergone a three-year recovery plan, the course is in excellent condition with lush fairways and excellent greens.

A good test of golf with a mixture of holes.

The course was as expected for a links fast fairways and greens, the weather was hot and still so the course played quite short as the elements were the courses best defense.Quite open and easy to find the fairways with no real stand out holes. Was disapointed with the lack of yardage markers and the greens speeds were all over the place.Overall good value for money.

Very gusty and rainy when I played here. This still did not ruin the day. Enjoyed the course and imagine would be better in warm weather. Strange club / course arrangement? 4 clubs from one course.
