Queens Park Golf Club
Last updated:
What we say
Arguably the best in the south of England, it has challenged golfing heroes – including Bobby Locke, Henry Cotton and Seve Ballesteros – and hackers alike. Set in undulating mature parkland in the heart of Bournemouth, Queen’s Park has been in excellent condition this season with the greens running fast and true.
The course was officially opened in 1905. 'Queens' quickly established itself as the finest municipal golf course in England and it continues to attract thousands of visitors each year. The course has undergone major alterations over the years making it easier to play. It is a very good golfing challenge and a round played to handicap would still be a very satisfying achievement.
