What we say
Wavendon Golf Centre comprises an 18-hole parkland golf course, a Par 3, 9-hole golfcourse, a 9-hole pitch and putt golf course, 36-bay floodlit driving range, a clubhouse with bar, carvery and conference facilities.
The beautifully presented 18-hole golf course has been designed in a traditional parkland setting. Designed through the mature oak and lime trees with carefully positioned bunkers and more than the odd splash of water make driving accuracy a priority.

I have played this course many times over the last 10 years and have always enjoyed it. Although fairly Small at only 5460 yards, it still is a great challenge for the mid to high handicapper. It also has a challenging 9 hole par 3 which is great for beginners and more established players to have a quick practice. The facilities are great, it has a superb driving range and a good golf shop and its also a great place to have a Sunday roast. A small tip though. If you wish to visit this course on a hot summer’s weekend expect a long queue. They pack the course at the weekends and you'll end up queuing on the par 3's. It took over 5 hours to go round on my last visit.

I've played this course on and off for 5 years and there have been few changes. It's not a wow-type of golf course but for a fair challenge that gives you regular highs and lows, it's a great medium/high handicapper course. Relatively flat course with some interesting tree positions. It also has an excellent par-3 short game course with proper par-3 distances to allow for decent short game practice.
