The Lambourne Club

What we say
The Home Counties is jammed to the rafters with decent golf clubs, and Lambourne can hold itself up to most of them. But while it’s undoubtedly a quality course that’s well maintained, we couldn’t help but feel many of the holes are relatively ordinary. Most remarkable aspect of your day will probably be spotting the celebrity members in the clubhouse and for a course that charges £60 for a game that’s not a good sign.
The Lambourne Club is set in 180 acres of breathtaking parkland with magnificent old oak and beech trees and six picturesque lakes.
It is one of the region's most prestigious private golf clubs, its clubhouse being a unique combination of understated elegance and traditional colonial style comfort.
The place - on and off course - simply oozes class with the changing rooms, located on the first floor, having a steam room for the men and a sauna for the ladies.
Stay & Play: Premier Travel Inn and the Clifton Lodge Hotel.
