A gem of a course. The greens and fairways are always well maintained. There are some challenging holes for the single handicappers but enough wider fairways to keep the 20+ brigade happy. The closing 2 holes can catch anyone out.... Great clubhouse. An enjoyable day out.

A good course... First six holes are links type then it becomes more desirable... First 6 holes I put them down as a warm up... Worst hole is the 10th as very basic & short... 14th hole tee-off box faces the wrong direction... Best hole 17th which is a Par 5... The course greens are in pretty good condition... Good they got a driving range but you have to go to the Pro-Shop & walk back again to buy a range card... More credit you buy should be cheaper but it's not... Overall for 2-Fore-1 it's a winner & nice to play and practice on. Well Done Richings Park & 2-Fore!-1 getting together. A++++.

Played the course with my wife midweek, the start of the round is fairly bland and field like; once you get into the tree lined holes, it is much more interesting, felt some of the regular or members (not sure) had little or etiquette when playing behind especially on Short Par 4 holes when someone with a ferocious drive like we encountered as it landed beside me on the green without a four. Apart from this mishap we never encountered any more problems until the last two holes where some boisterous lads had given up on the actual game and were having a laugh at getting nearest the pond without going in- they were well mannered and apologized for their actions and allowed us to play through. Decided to put it down as a one off and were grateful we only paid half price with out two for one vouchers. The general upkeep of the course was good albeit fresh dressing.was a bit thick.

The first half dozen holes are billed as 'links style', with the remainder being more mature parkland course. A well-laid out course, with many greens protected by bunkers (as it should be, I suppose !) Not a long course and plenty of doglegs mean it's not always prudent to go with the driver. Water comes into play on the last few holes, with the 18th being a feature - 380 yards, then over the stream onto a small green. Lovely old, converted club-house, rather sparse pro-shop, putting green and small driving range. Due to it's location, some of the holes suffer from noise from the M4, which is a shame. Still, at £12 each with a 2-fore-1 voucher, I would certainly go back.
