Mill Ride Golf Club

It’s a short drive from the mighty Wentworth and Sunningdale but it’ll only cost you a fraction of the green fee to tee it up on this fine Donald Steel parkland layout.

Mill Ride is usually in good nick and offers a decent variety of holes including numerous water features, most notably the stroke index 1 par-4 2nd and the pulsating par-5 finale – a potential card wrecker with more aqua guarding the front of the final green.

This Donald Steel-designed venue has hosted numerous professional tournaments and is a regular haunt for many leading European Tour players such as Brian Davis and Scott Drummond. Also, Gary Evans is attached as touring professional while Golf Management International now base their operations from Mill Ride. Mill Ride may be overlooked by near neighbour Wentworth and Sunningdale, but it's a class act in its own right, the impressive membership list boasting the names of Sir Clive Woodward, Glenn Hoddle and Lawrence Dallaglio to name a few.

  The course is supurb and you mau often see a tour player going round. The poor side of golf was registerd at here as a taylormade wedge was taken from my bag outside the clubhouse as i payed here
