played this course last week, general welcome wasn't very welcoming, members just looked me up and down without greeting,as did the pro shop assistant. We were charged maximum price,£45 when using the 2-4-1 voucher, sort of defeats the object of the exercise really. The greens were lined ,tined and sanded and played like concrete,I 3-4 putted nearly every hole! pity really because it is a pretty course ,probably wont be going back , if I do it'll be in the winter when theres a chance there'll be some grass on the greens!

Spent 3 nights here recently. Staff at the hotel are polite but relaxed, none of the snobbery associated with golf. The course was excellent, the front 9 fairly straightforward to get you in the swing then the back 9 becomes a little more interesting with the introduction of a few water hazards! All the tee's and greens were in immaculate condition. If you want to experience Augusta style greens then have a go on the practice green ... its like putting on glass. Pro shop was well stocked with the basics. Hotel rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Bar food was excellent however the restaurant menu was a little extravigant. All in all an excellent hotel/golf course.

Just got back from a golf trip to this course. The hotel and facilities were superb and the course is in exeptional condition. The holes are very challenging but give you a good chance to score well and the greens are kept well and very fast. Also there are not a lot of people playing the course so you never feel rushed. All in all a great place to go for a golf trip
