What we say

Woodcote is a flattish parkland capable of biting if you try to overpower it. The front nine is short but the 5th is a brute of a par 4. However, you have to wait until the back nine for a par 5…then two arrive in the last three holes, the duo being split by a short par 4.

Woodcote Park Golf Club was founded in 1912 when a group of local residents wanted a golf course for their community to enjoy. The course is part parkland, part downland and is one of the longest in the county. It is a reasonably flat course, but several long par 4s, together with its many bunkers, make this an enjoyable test of golf.
