  If you have not played this one for a few years you must go back and have a round. It is a completely different experience. Greens were immaculate. A great course if you stray from your fairway.

  Greens kept in excellent conditions all year round. Some narrow fairways make for considered shots especially at holes 3 and 12. Great feeling to par the island green (hole 10) with a 7 iron. Even better when you birdie it! Friendly and helpful staff in the pro shop and bar. Excellent value for money. Nice putting, piching and bunker practice areas. Only suggestion is to have trackman type machines to see your ditance and ball flight and automatic power tee mats on the driving range.

  With 3 or 4 difficult "signature" holes (3, 10, 12, 17) to make up for some short par 4s, the course has clearly benefitted from investment and, after favourable summer weather (and no doubt the Green Keeping staff!), it is now presented in great condition. In particular the greens are in excellent condition. The staff in the pro shop and in the Clubhouse are very friendly and welcoming making for a great value course close to central London.
