Croham Hurst Golf Club

What we say
You’re only two miles from the edge of London, yet you feel a world away in rolling countryside. The golf course was built on chalk so it drains well. There are several star hole candidates – it’s hard to pick between the tough par 4 15th and the great par 3 that follows. Croham is a great alternative to the pricey courses in the area though at around 6,300 yards from the back tees, it can feel fiddly at times.
Croham Hurst was designed by FG Hawtree and James Braid and opened as an 18 hole layout in 1913. A parkland golf course with densely wooded areas, its located in gently rolling countryside just two miles from central Croydon and being 500ft above sea level provides extensive views across South London.
Accommodation: The Selsdon Park Hotel is just five minutes away.
