What we say
A beautiful and mature golf course offering a fine challenge to golfers at all levels. Panoramic views, overlooking the North Downs and Weald, create a perfect back drop for a layout which has made best use of the interesting and undulating topography. A variety of mixed and mature trees, including many fine oaks, provide essential course definition and a mature stream creates several interesting water features ensuring that every hole provides a very different challenge. Constructed on rich sandy loam the golf course is playable all year round.
Social networking community for golfers TheSocialGolfer.com (TSG) held its annual TSG OPEN Golf Day Championship at Bletchingley Golf Club in Surrey on July 5, 2014. The day was attended by over 60+ able-bodied and disabled golfers from all over the South East of England and from as far away as Portugal and Lithuania in aid of BALASA Golf – the charity promoting disabilities for all golfers. Now in its fourth year, the Halliwell Cup was won by Weybridge & Surrey based TSG member David Holmes, with the Ladies Trophy retained by Horley & Surrey based golfer Virginija Zlabiene. £5 of each player’s entry fee was donated to BALASA resulting in over £1k raised for the charity, which will go toward providing buggies for disabled golfers at their UK and international events.
Ian Mullins, Managing Director of TheSocialGolfer.com said: "Bletchingley is fast becoming the Augusta of the TSG OPEN. As always we were hugely impressed with the way the club supported the event. It is key that we do we can to raise the profile of disabled golfers and this is the TSGers doing their little bit for the cause. BALASA is very close to our hearts and they are an example to anyone with a disability to get out and play!”

A great course for amateurs and lower hc's, Carl was very welcoming as the pro and they are always happy to help. Members and visitors all had a smile on this beautiful course that plays differently every day - always a challenge and the improvements are coming on well

This is a stunning par 72 course. There is a few beautifull signature holes e.g the 12 and 13. Overall the course is one of the finest

This course, coming in at 6200+ yards, is a serious challenge. I've played here numerous times in all weathers and conditions and each time it's like playing a different course. The greens are superb condition and the facilities are excellent. Even better is it's a 2 for 1 course which at £22.50 for a Sunday afternoon isn't to bad. It's never been that busy when I've played which for those of us that live in South London can be a rarity. My only critisism is the telling off I got from a member for putting my golf shoes on in the car park. Aparently there was a sign saying I must change in the changing rooms. Despite playing their 5 or 6 times I've never seen the sign and the pro hasn't pointed me in the "right" direction. There's nothing qweer as a golf club member!
