What we say
A James Braid-designed downland which is in good shape year-round. It’s in the process of being lengthened but remains a good test – most fairways are flanked by mature trees of several varieties. The greens run fast and true in the summer.
Originally opened in 1890, Banstead Downs Golf Club offers an 18 hole parkland course, originally designed by James Braid. The course is situated on well-draining chalk land, meaning the course will remain open throughout the year. The course is surrounded by mature woodland. With tree-lined fairways and numerous strategically-placed bunkers, the course will provide golfers of any ability with a challenge.
