What we say
Golf has been played at Hendon Golf Club since 1900, although the club itself wasn't formally established till 1903. The golf course was designed in 1925 by Harry Colt, also responsible for the likes of Wentworth and Sunningdale.
Colt's view that a golf course should be "a natural haven for the joys of true golf" is well to the fore at Hendon where golfers can enjoy playing in peaceful surroundings amidst a host of fine trees including oak, silver birches, willows, poplars and some excellent examples of Hornbeam.
Accommodation: Hendon Hall Hotel is about one mile away.

Very good all round condition, greens very good, best in the area, quite fast. Small well protected greens. Not a long course but you must hit the fairways. Par 3 6th hole is great...one of the best holes in Middlesex. Par 70 but is not easy. Need to have a reasonable game to play this course.
