What we say
The first record of Golf being played at Gillingham was in 1905. Formally laid out by James Braid in 1919 and constructed by the army, the course remains a challenge after being updated by Donald Steel in the 1990s with its tree lined fairways and small fast greens.
Situated in the Medway Towns within 10 minutes of the M2, Gillingham is ideally situated to welcome visitors from all over the country.

By no means is it the best in medway or kent. This is alot harder that first looked. Bunkers and trees well placed. Sadly because of membership only play you can't play till 12, the golf pro can come across rude. You can't book a tee off you just book a average turn up (seems a bit strange) generally though better a happy round

£25 for a Junior, are you serious? £25 and not allowed to play until after 12 oclock, i would rather go round the corner to deangate... the course was ok but not as good as some of the other courses in the area such as cobtree manor park. The greens have been treated with chemicals two months too late so now the greens are dead and very slow. The bunkers have no sand in them at all, some bunkers you will find loads of sand and others will be bare. The club is run by veterans in which they dont like the better juniors playing therefore limit the time we have to play.
