Opened in 1992, Sandhill Golf Club offers an 18 hole parkland course, with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers protecting the greens.

A 17 bay floodlit driving range is available also.

  Played on 07/06/2009 .It was a very windy day , and quite overcast but still , its a nice course . Nice a wide in some places , but lacks any "stunning" holes . At £26.00 on a sunday it rates as fairly good value . Well worth a knock , I'd certainley go again. Watch out for the bunker at green no.4 , ouch !!

  We played Sandhill with our society on Sunday 1st March and received a very warm welcome. The weather was suprisingly good for that time of year so I was very suprised when we were playing off mats and been asked to tee the ball up on the fairways. To be fair Sandhill is OK, the fairways are generous and open but were in good condition. The course offers a variety of holes with some doglegs unfortunately as we were on mats the 17th (par 4) and 18th (par 5) were too short which led to a disappointing finish. The greens were quite tricky and some of the pin positions a little interesting however Stableford scores on the day were generally high which reflects the simple challenge the course offers. The food and staff were brilliant and we were well looked after. I was a little disappointed to be charged full for the food for two of our party that couldn't make it on the day but apart from that it's a nice small welcoming course what doesn't offer much of a challenge but was enjoyable all the same.
