What we say
Kirkbymoorside Golf Club offers a challenging golf course set in a beautiful, quiet, rural surrounding on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.
Whatever the time of year, you will be impressed with the spectacular scenery and the peace and quiet which will surround you during the whole of your round. The view over the moors from the 13th tee is unsurpassed in the whole of the North of England. Looking away from the moors, the course offers distant views of the Yorkshire Wolds and The Hambleton Hill – both areas of outstanding natural beauty. After your round, come and join us in our modern comfortable club house (opened in 1998 by Ryder Cup Captain Bernhard Gallagher) where you will find our staff will provide a hospitable and friendly welcome. Enjoy a drink, and a snack or a ‘home cooked’ meal in the club house or at a table outside on our newly appointed veranda, which looks out across the 1st tee and up the 18th fairway.

a course where you have to use your head and different clubs, not just tee it up and watch it fly, the day we played it was a shame it rained so hard, greens where great and not always easy to read. its a course you need to play before you can have a good score unless as previously said your on your game. would i play it again? you bet

On a sunny day it is magnificent . All 18 holes are different and some quite tough . Not a course for a raw beginner , but a great test for the average golfer
