What we say
Hornsea Golf Club boasts a 100-year old golf course set among mature trees and gorse with attractive water features and smooth, fast and subtly borrowed greens. An easy walking golf course with generous fairways, Hornsea is ideal for corporate and society days, as well as for casual visitors.
Measuring 6,647 yards from the white tees (SSS 72) and with plenty of trouble awaiting the wayward tee or approach shots, the golf course is highly rated throughout Yorkshire.

Went to play on 25/05/11 booked in morning of day explained 2 4 1 voucher said the could do it for £20 for 2 ball as they had special on the the moment, when arrived refused to do 2 41 voucher on special price and that it would be £22.50 each with voucher which by my maths makes weekday price £45 ! each. With no other helps forthcoming having travel 20 miles to play the course, i was very annoyed, got changed put clubs back in car and went to play another further up the coast (£20 each with no voucher) my disappointment is not the cost it is the miss information and lack of helpfulness we received.

A top quality golf course set in beautiful surroundings , when i played the greens were pretty poor although i was playing in the middle of winter, a noteable hole is the par 4 9th over the water about 400 yards, i managed to chip in for par out of the bunker which was impressive seen as i am usually garbage at bunker shots, good value for money. Now eat poo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Played at Hornsea on a lovely Sunday afternoon in June for the first time in approx 15 years. The course was better than I remembered. It is a generous course and gives all levels of golfers a chance whilst still proving a challenge. There are many beautiful holes on the course and I cannot name a bad hole. The course was in superb condition tee to green and well worth the money. The welcome was friendly and the members were very welcoming and friendly. The facilities at the club are excellent. It was a 1 and 1/2 hour journey to the course but one I would definately do again.

A truly lovely, mature course with excellent club house facilities. Superb food.

Fabulous course, despite the wet weather no winter greens in play and only 1 hole affected, very friendly welcome, definitely one for the summer.
